After the cruise, take a 3-hour jeep drive to Jabel Harim, the Musandam Peninsula’s highest mountain. Travel through the mountains in a 4×4 vehicle, stopping for breathtaking views along the way.

Stop at Sayh, a lovely Bedouin community that sprawls along the mountainside. View the village’s old petroglyphs, which date back over 3,000 years. Pass through a spectacular fossil wall, with crabs and shellfish clearly visible.

Finally, at 1,800 metres above sea level, reach the peak of Jebel Harim. See the wide Indian Ocean unroll below you from the Khawr Najid viewpoint. In the distance, you can see Khasab and the town of Dibba. Many of the summit rocks are also studded with wonderfully preserved fossils, allowing visitors to see ancient undersea species such as mollusks, fish, clams, and countless trilobites.
